Andreas Arnold is doing his Ph.D. at TU Wien at Institute of Applied Physics in the Biophysics research group. As part of his research, the group uses super-resolution microscopy to study the dynamics and distribution of proteins in the plasma membrane of a biological cell.

During his studies, he learned that scientific truth at a given point of time can be amazingly precise and closer to reality in some details while being rather crude and incorrect in others.

In his talk at TEDxTUWien, we will be introduced to face the fact that something known to be true turned out to be false after all.
