Marcus Orlovsky

Marcus Orlovsky founded and runs a social enterprise helping disadvantaged young people break through barriers to their success. He’s worked with just over 110,000 young people aged 14 to 19 in 12 countries to help them see beyond the constraints of the standardised testing in schools. He loves TEDx and the breadth of speakers, the teams and most of all, the range of participants. His background is as varied as his current activities and includes directorships of Real Estate companies (he’s been in a tiny team which borrowed over GBP 6Bn), a Tech start-up (grown from 2 to 140 people) and has been involved with a whole host of others including designing over 400 schools (free education) with a capital cost of some GBP 5Bn). He is passionately inquisitive about everything and is enthusiastic, although pretty well useless at most sports..
